An arched grotto with Mary standing in a niche toward its top and St. Bernadette kneeling in prayer outside of the grotto. Mary wears robes and a veil. She has a metal halo around her head and a rosary hangs from her proper right arm. Her hands are clasped in prayer. St. Bernadette wears a long-sleeved dress and a shawl or veil over her head.
